Sleep aids

Peaceful sleeping is an inevitable part of a healthy life. It plays an important role not only in the post workout recovery, but since poor sleep quality has a negative effect on our performance, it also increases the risk of accidents and hinders the effective work of the immune system. Stressful lifestyles often go hand in hand with sleeping disorders as a result of which the quality of life worsens and the risk of health problems increases. These products can help in sleep disruptions that are not very severe.

Melatonin is a natural hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. It is produced by the pineal gland which is a tiny gland located behind our eyes. When light passes through the retina, the brain sends a message to the pineal gland to decrease melatonin production, the result of which is waking up. According to studies, melatonin supplements help fall asleep, decrease occasions of waking up during the night, and improve the quality of sleeping.
